New York City

September 11-15
Busy week at the Inside Beauty Health, Wellness Conference at the Javitz.

We stayed at Olivers apartment located at the most northern most tip of the city. We had dinner with him one night and he was off to Denver the next morning. Fern came up for 4 days and each morning went across the bridge to the Bronx for what else but Starbucks (notice a cup in Brett's hand). Great location and comfy lofty chairs to sit and people watch and read the NY Times.

Favorite NYC activity: eating

NYC

Favorite NYC sport: shopping

Pleasant surprises: we met lots of cute dogs, walked right into a street festival. Spent most of our time eating and shopping around there with Brett and Fern.

Beautiful places: the park next to Oliver's apt building

Cool spot: the Apple store, open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week!

Least impressed with: Tiffany's

Most impressed with: the brand new subway train we got to ride in. The guys sitting next to us were Transit engineers and they were testing out the new train. And oh yeah, I asked alot of questions, especially after he said to the other guy "we passed the critical zone". Smooth ride all the way to mid-town.
